Grant grew up in a small farming community, Dedham, IA, and graduated from Kuemper Catholic High School in Carroll, IA. After high school, Grant went to Omaha and studied at Creighton University. While at Creighton, he was able to maintain honor roll status and qualify to be accepted into Creighton’s PT school a year early as part of their 3:3 program. Through clinical experience Grant found that a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare was very beneficial to the patients. After graduation he spent 10 years honing that approach at a rural Iowa hospital.

Grant particularly enjoys that the small community approach to healthcare allows him to work with patient’s 1 on 1 and that is something that he brings to Spine and Sports. When you come for physical therapy, you will see the same provider each session. This allows a more focused plan of care and undivided attention from your therapist.

When not treating patients Grant loves spending time with his wife Andrea and their 4 children; Lawrence, Janet, Mary, and Natalie. When time allows he enjoys jogging, cooking/baking, and spending time with extended family.

Treatment and Care:

  • Improve range of motion and strength of injured or post-operative joints and muscles.
  • I utilize a variety of exercises, activities, and modalities to help improve the stability of the core, spine, and joints of the extremities.
  • My personal goal is to find what is important to my patients and restore that prior level of function.
  • I treat a variety of conditions including: post op rehab, athletic injuries, chronic pain, work injuries, vertigo, balance issues, and more.
