Dr. Vanessa Moody earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2024, where she also received the Research Honors Award. She was also recognized as a Clinical Excellence Nominee for her commitment to high standards of patient care and was named a Dean’s List recipient multiple trimesters while at Palmer.
Before becoming a chiropractor, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Business from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, graduating in 2020. This background helps her understand not only how the body functions, but how life, stress, work, and relationships impact health. During her time in Lincoln, she never missed a football game and loved studying at all of the coffee shops around town.
Dr. Vanessa is originally from Columbus, Nebraska, but in 2006 her family relocated to Omaha. She graduated from V.J. and Angela Skutt Catholic High School in 2017. Her passion for chiropractic began in high school after a hyperextension injury to her low back left her in significant discomfort. Through chiropractic care, she was able to return to all of the clubs and activities she participated in pain-free. That experience inspired her to pursue a career in chiropractic, with the goal of helping others heal, move better, and regain their quality of life.
Dr. Vanessa provides individualized care for patients of all ages—from just days old to well into their senior years. She believes that the best results come from truly listening to patients and creating individualized treatment plans that support both short-term relief and long-term wellness. Her adjusting techniques include Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, and Logan basic, allowing her to adapt care to each person’s comfort level and lifestyle. She utilizes Active Release Technique alongside chiropractic manipulation as another tool to promote long-lasting results and healing. She strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their health decisions. Her goal is for every patient to leave feeling cared for, confident, and encouraged on their path to better health.
Dr. Vanessa and her husband Jayson married in 2025 and they have two cats, Nala and Millie. Outside of the office, Dr. Vanessa loves spending time with her family and friends, live music, Farmer’s Markets and coffee.
