Thigh & Groin Overview
Sitting (as many of us do for work) predisposes us to straining this muscle due to the frequent shortened length.
Pain in the front of the hip running down the front of the leg and into the knee as well as weakness and giving out of the leg are the most common symptoms.
Muscles of the upper leg (Quads – front of the upper leg, Hamstrings – back of the upper leg, and Groin – inside of the upper leg) are susceptible to injury through both overuse and sudden movement.
» Lateral Femoral Cutaneous Nerve Entrapment
Nerve symptoms (numbness, tingling, burning) on the outside of the thigh from the waist to the knee are the main symptoms of this condition.
